As I'm suffering the whole day from Diarrhea again and be stuck to the Bed, why not writing another Blog entry from Yesterday…
Yesterday i made a journey to the Countryside by myself, driving 20 Kilometres inside the Countryside with the Bicycle. As i don't feel to write so much now i just will show you some Pictures. I discovered a very poor Fisherman's Village, where the Kids were bathing in the polluted Water, old guys running around with Cut-Off Noses, probably from the Red Khmer, very bad on that, but after i also discovered one of the so far most beautiful temples I've seen on my Travels, and it was totally empty! Just 2 Monks were around there. Totally amazing experience.
Cambodia is very flat landed, u can see to the horizon from almost everywhere
try to drive more then 40 Kilometres on the Bicycle in 39° degrees, its not a joyride i can tell you
most houses are built on stilts, because the whole area gets flooded within the rainy season
he has to walk to school for around 8 Kilometres one-way every day
all full of sea-roses and…
…very greenish
Cambodia.
Kid is taking a bath in the Tonle Sap, which is very polluted because everybody is throwing their trash in it. This even is a “clean” picture, there a places where is extremely much trash on the side of the river, looks like in some African Ghetto.
The entrance of the Amazing Temple… You have to look how much detail they put in everything here
Temple Guard
One of 3 Big Buildings on the Temple area
Amazing Details
Don't come any closer!
Looked so amazing in real
Inside!!!
Outside, big Buddha on the Water!!!!
Two Big Towers in front of the Temple
The other Temple from inside
Its all handmade the Monk said…
And this was the Place where the Monks were sleeping in. Inside are VERY SMALL rooms..
This was a great experience to see a Temple without a single Tourist!!! I enjoyed it allot. Also talking to the Monks.
Now i will have my decent Dinner, Plain Rice with Salt, and if my stomach could handle it a whole wheat cracker…
Hope u enjoyed the Photos, Good Evening.
AntwortenLöschenSeems as they like it even more colourful than in thailand, eh? :)
AntwortenLöschenExactly! I also seen some now with very nice BLACK and WHITE Roofs! But didnt had my camera with me.. Looked like the homestay of a super villain :D Next time i try to catch it on cam
