…i started my Travels at the Munich Airport, where i looked white skinned like that:
My best Cousin ever and his Friend Flo brought me to the Airport to get on the Second Airplane of my life to start my Trip. I wasn't excited at all, however that's possible. 66 Days later i travelled over 20000 Kilometres so far and I'm arrived in Pakse, Laos. My Hair are longer (and probably more greasy) and my skin turned darker. I got a bit smarter(i hope), i met some excellent and some not so excellent People on my Travel. So to give a quick Status Report: I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE REGRET THIS STEP!
Well, even if Cambodia at the beginning just wasn't able to make me happy, at the end it does, and at the end i feel even sad to leave this wonderful People i met there. My last Days on Cambodia, when i came back to the BAT HOTEL from Sihanoukville (which was a total disappointment) i was so glad to see the smile faces of the Bat Hotels Staff again. I decided to spend my last 8 Days in Siem Reap. Quite a nice Place to hangout, and i also was able to get me into a 5 Star resort with Pool and everything for 4 Dollars a Day. So i was able to go to the gym and the pool everyday from 06.00 AM to 22:00 PM which was great, to get some routine in my life again (feels good sometimes).
Anyways soon as i came back to the Bat Hotel they already awaited me with big smile faces. Especially the Manager is a great guy. He take me out for Dinner to show some Cambodian style Places, took us to the Club (which was a bit weird, no Mita? ) At the Second Day i was back at the Hotel i was coming down the Stairs (11:00AM) and the Manager was already waiting there for me with a Beer in his Hands. STEFAN COME! Say Hello to our new Guests, and offered free Beer (1 of 3, before Lunch Time) There was a Couple sitting and smiling, glad to receive Free Beers. I met Mita and Laura from Lithuania, they live in Oslo. We got into a Chat and go to Lunch after some Beers where we had more chatting. We came along good and spent few excellent Days together Eating, Drinking and Smoking Happy Shishas. It was a great Time and they invited me come to Visit them in Oslo, what i definitely will do!
I didn't Take any more Pictures of Cambodia, because i wanted to relax, just from the Last evening i have made some. They changed the Name from “The Avista Hotel” to: THE BAT HOTEL! All with Batman stuff, Batman tuktuk and so on, so we were invited to join their festivity's which was AWESOME! Free Food, Free Beer, Free good mood! It was a great Evening i want to Share some Pictures with u.
This was our first Evening together with Kavin, who take us to a excellent Cambodian Restaurant. I tried FROG and it was quite good.
Our second GREAT Evening at a awesome Italian Restaurant where we enjoyed Wine.
So come to the Day of the festivities.
Here they are Changing the Hotel Logo
Bat Mobile! Or Bat Tuk.
We was able to join the Buddhist Ceremony for good Luck for the new Hotel. Very nice Ceremony!
Kavin lighting up some Candles.
Highly concentrated Monks
When Clients get Friends. Laura, Mita, Me and Kavin (owner of the Hotel).
And last but not least my favourite Receptionists of the World! Always smiling, always in good mood and Kind as hell! I will totally miss them!!!
So in the end i will leave Cambodia with 1 smiling and 1 whining eye. I got very bad and very good experiences in that Country.
So Today it was Time to jump on the Airplane and say Goodbye Cambodia.
On the Way to Pakse i tried to make some Photos with my Crappy IPhone Camera ( i hate it) but anyways look at some.
Clouds!
My little Snack box from Lao Airlines, which turned out to be a excellent Flight Line!
The Mekong River!!!! SOOO Big!
Just a Squirrel Pet in a Cage
And few more first impressions of Pakse. So far, there a not many tourists at all, its very quiet, the People seems VERY nice and Helpful (but they cant talk English at all) so my first impression is GREAT! Tomorrow ill meet Radka again and we spend 3 Weeks Travelling together, i cant wait for that. I will try to keep up the Blog, but as soon as i leave Pakse it will hard to get Internet Connections. So for the next 2 Months please be Patient with Blog Updates. I will do them as soon as i got the Connection.
So much of the last 10 Days, i wish you a good Time and keep reading my Stuff
Best greetings to all.
Good luck on your further journey :)
