Hello, Lao.

 

Today, as long as i got Internet i wanted to share my first Impressions of Lao with you. And so far, I'm totally amazed. Lao is bringing back my Wanderlust in just one day, i am totally into it again. After a not so sleep full night i decided to have an Indian Breakfast, which was great and after go straight to rent a Motorbike, to do my favourite Travelling! Totally by myself and individual on the Bike! GREAT! U just can go wherever you want.

So i decided, cause i am still waiting for my Friend to arrive, to check out the surroundings of Pakse. LAO PEOPLE ARE SO NICE! SOSOSOSO NICE!

Imagine that, i just went on the Bike and stopped at some Crossroads to check the Map were I am, SUDDENLY 2 older Laotians came straight to me, give me their hands, and tried to help me in the best way the could! They thought i was lost, so i tried to tell em that i wanted to go to a small Village. One of the Guys just spoke small English, so he gave over to the other one, after he touch my Shoulder, wish me Good Luck for my Travel and give me a Toothless smile.

The other guy started a small chat, he was interested what I'm doing, if I'm alone, what my occupation is and so on. He told me he learned English from Books by him self. He was so Kind!!! So after a small Chat he wished me the best Luck for my Travel and further Life and said Goodbye, without expecting any reward for it, it was out of pure Kindness! WOW! Fucking GREAT!

So ill just share a few of my Pictures. There is nothing special yet because i didn't went far, but what I've seen so far is amazing! And the Traffic in Lao is as same as crazy as in Cambodia. No Rules at all. People are going crazy and driving in wrong Lanes etc. After driving in such a Place, u will never ever have Problems with Traffic back home again in your Life.

You can see a Big Buddha on the Hill far away. I will try to get there tomorrow.

The People in the Villages are extremely friendly. All of them Waving to you and stuff, its amazing.

Tomorrow ill borrow a big Baja Motorbike to go bit more into the Countryside. More impressive Pictures will follow.

Now ill drink a small BeerLao and have a well deserved Nap after. Read me in few Days.
