Hello Guys,
sooo… after coming back to Trang where i had to spend a night because there was no train ticket availible i finally headed northwards. On Trang i was on the same accommodation as last time with Helen and Simon. 300 Baht.Clean.Fan.Good.
Trang was just a Friday Night Market with decent food and a early bedtime for me. Day after i went to the Train station at 13:25…
This what second class public train looks like:
Well, if u ever dreamed about sleeping in an Sauna this is probably the way to go for you.
But if not be able to sleep were the only thing that happend on the Train i would be glad.
So the usual arrival time was set for 5:25 in the Morning in Bangkok. In Fact we arrived at 12:50PM in Bangkok after nearly 24 Hours on the Train. Why? Well, the train decided to start burning at 5 in the Morning which gave us a little delay.
Its quite funny when ur tryin to sleep and Thai People start screaming and running arround the floor, when u then see huge amounts of smoke coming into your car. It gets even better when u have locked your backpack with a numberlock on the Iron thingy and the light goes off too ;-]
But all of a sudden we made it to Bangkok! Yey! After receiving 3 or more free Meals from an very nice old Thai Lady! Imagine that in Germany, that someone gives 3 meals to you on a train for free…. would just never happen.
After arriving in Bangkok i needed another Trainride for like 2 hours to go to Ayutthaya…..
Arrived in Ayutthaya i recognized a inhuman heat… it was so fucking hot you couldnt stand it. It was like you sweat ALL the time! The People in the Guesthouse just layed down as soon the clock hits 12pm because it was just to exhausting to do something AT ALL!.
Then there were BIG FLOODS in Ayutthaya few weeks ago, which gave probably birth to TRILLIONS of Mosquitos, which made it impossible to go outside at the evening…
Gladly i managed to do some Photos in Ayutthaya in early Morning, il share them with u… Was hard work to do those Photos!!!!
Tuk Tuk for 200 Baht / Hour… why i should shed even more sweat and take the bicycle…
At the first site there were a few Ruins, like everywhere over Ayutthaya…
And a very impressive lying white Buddha
They are doing it right.
Just amazing to see this Stuff with your own eyes.. Especially when youre on your own and youre in no hurry…
Lots of Buddhas everywhere…Very nice views.
Golden ones in Top of the Temple.
The traditional hang loose photo.stupid.
Few more impressions
On the next site there was HUGE Golden Buddha inside a Building… the height of the Buddha is 15-20 Meters.. But the even more impressive thing i discovered outside in a small side street.
Very fancy Chinese like Temple room.. Was very impressive to see! Especially no tourists there!
Hello! I am the Tree Buddha whatever Head!
Very nice Ruins all over!
Why not check out the last site on an elephant. Very smooth Animals. Especially when they try to enter a Bus.
Soon as the time hits 12:00pm i went back into my room for a Nap to take the Evening Train to Chiang Mai!
My first NICE COOL NIGHT since weeks! Could sleep very good, even if the Thai people are really crazy about their Air Condition.. they always put it on level Antarctica…
On the Train to Chiang i met Francoise, a 28y old France guy who was travelling on his own too, no we kinda got the same accommodation and gonna hang out for a few days.
First impressions of Chiang Mai: I love it! Nice Climate, very nice People, very nice City! Lets stay here for a while!
VERY Nice Accommodation! Unfortunately only for one night, then il go to a cheaper one. 280 Baht a Night. Hopefully it will be nice and clean.
Lot of these in Chiang Mai! But i will start discover the City tomorrow.
And at the End il give u short impression of a Tuk Tuk Ride
In this sense i say Goodbye and if i find the Time il give an update in a few days.
Stay safe!
