Goodbye Siboya, hello mountains

 

Hallo zusammen, da ich n paar englische Leute kennengelernt hab die auch gern meinen Blog mitverfolgen würden muss ich nun alles auf englisch schreiben, da aber ja alle der Sprache mächtig sein sollten hoffe ich das es kein Problem ist

 

Last few days on Siboya was quite relaxing. Not much happen. Few people left we where used to hang out with, so it was just the right time to leave. Below you find a few pictures of my last days on Koh Siboya, i love the people and will never forget em!

After that day Helen and Simon, who was coming on the island the same day as i, leaved. But as we said, we’ll meet again!

Radka and i approaching on the Monkeys, which were invading a empty house and had a little party there.

And at the evening… celebrating again! Why? Do you really need reason to celebrate Siboya? I don't think so.

Carlos from Colombia made us some nice Coco Loco cocktails! Tasted very nice! Frank used to try all of them if they are all similar good

Next day Radka and Judy left, so it just was Niels, Frank, Gaby and me left. We took a Motorbike tour on the Island with Johnny and had a decent last evening with Gaby making us some cocktails.

A nice goodbye-sunrise and a decent evening meal for us involved!

The day after we moved to Krabi, Niels going back to Denmark, Frank going to Phangan and me meeting up with Simon and Helen to go to the Mountains.

Up on the Pickup and back to the mainland! Was nice to meet Simon and Helen again! So we moved out to the Mountains.

Very nice quiet place, bit to expensive but for 2 days its good. First evening was just some

nice food and a few Chang’s because it was raining and we had to get up at 4:30am.

This is what the accommodation looked like. Very nice, very clean, but as u can see without a mosquito net u probably feel a bit “unsafe” as creepy crawls can come in everywhere.

Anyways, it was nice to take the first warm Shower in 2 weeks, even if its just working for 2 minutes then the fuse pops out, well, at least 2 minutes

Next day we planed to go to a 1420 (or something) steps high mountain, where's a Buddha statue on top to watch the sunrise. But those are no “normal” steps. Those are BIIIG steps which are pretty hard to climb on! It was exhausting but we managed it to go up there in time, to NOT see the sunrise as it was too cloudy. But it was a beautiful place! And then LOTS of Monkeys appeared, which made the Trip good. The sight was beautiful also. After climbing all those steps back down we was going to see the Tiger Cave which was just on the side of the steps. Very nice, because we were totally alone all the time! Early birdish.

Very strange place… surrounded by mountains, full of jungle very warm and moist.

There you stand, 7am, seeing this a strangle place with a skeleton model, a digital clock and monk speaking weird stuff over a loudspeaker, you're just like yeah, what the fuck is going on here

Amazing Place to hang out! And the first really refreshing Water to jump in since i arrived in Thailand.

Tomorrow i will leave with Simon and Helen to go down south to Trang on the direction to the Malaysian border to go wherever we get a nice accommodation then. So we actually don't know where we end up yet.

Hallo zusammen…
hier gibst eigentlich nich viel neues zu berichten, naja, hier passiert schließlich auch nicht viel
Die letzten 2 Tage waren eigentlich völlig mit essen, Chang trinken und relaxen belegt.
Gestern Abend waren wir bei Manú und Kristel aus Frankreich zur Abschiedsparty von Isabelle eingeladen die heute leider abgereist is. Sie wollte eigentlich 2 Nächte bleiben, daraus wurden dann 11, muss man verstehen wenn wichtige Sachen wie Haare waschen oder laundry dazukommen.
War grandios bei ihnen, sie haben hier n Haus ganz oben aufm Hügel mit blick über die ganze Insel, alle Mitarbeiter der Siboya Bungalows waren auch mit dabei, Mr. Yai hat uns viele lustige Geschichten verzählt, Koo hat uns traurigen über den Tsunami erzählt, wie er sehen konnte als die Welle kommt und die Inseln am Horizont, auf der Freunde und Familie von ihm gewohnt haben verschlungen hat. Sehr sehr krass alles. Alkohol, Musik und Speisen umsonst diesen Abend.
Mr. Yai is so far der glücklichste Mensch den ich bisher getroffen hab. Er is stets fröhlich und lebt nach dem Motto, sei freundlich zu mir und ich bins zu dir! Kein schlechtes wie ich finde…
Morgen hat Adelman Larsson aus Denmark Geburtstag, der isn Renommierter Acoustic Professor.Hab mich bis jetz jeden Abend hervorragend mit Ihm über Musik und sonstige dinge, Kochen usw. unterhalten, klasse tüp! Für morgen organisiert er n Trip auf eine der Nachbar Inseln an nen einsamen Strand um seinen Geburtstag mit denen zu feiern die bock haben mit zu kommen! Sounds perfect for me!
Auch Helen und Simon aus England, die glücklicherweise gleichzeitig mit mir hierher gekommen sind sind top gesprächspartner! Sie kommen aus Cornwall, extrem nette Leute die auch schon viel rumgekommen sind, sie sind hier um sich mit Simons Bruder zu treffen, der Englisch in Trang was etwas weiter südlich ist unterrichtet.
Heute wollt ichn Motobike ausleihn um die Insel n bisschen anzuschauen. Mr Chung gefragt ob ich eins leihen kann für ne Stunde “ Ahhhh Stefan! Motobike! U just take one of my Bikes! For you free!” Klasse Mann der Mr Chung.

Simon und Helen meinten ich könnte hier ne menge Kohle verdienen wenn ich Englisch und IT in kombination unterrichten würde, da die leute hier sehr wissbegierig sind, und sie meinten mein Englisch wäre DEFINITLY good enough to teach somebody! Sounds nice, tho!
Heute is, ich hab seinen Namen vergessen, einer aus Köln angekommen, der war in Burma und total begeistert. Etwas teuer, aber sehr sehr gut! Vielleicht doch ne Überlegung wert.
Naja,  noch ein paar Tage hier und dann ab nach RAILEY BEACH zum Deep Water Solo!!!! Heute schon mit ner Deutschen veranstalterin geredet, läuft alles easy hier!
Jetzt ne runde Sepak Takraw, der 2. Thai National Sport ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sepak_takraw)  Ballspiel! Dann bestell ich mein Abendessen und schau den netten Mädels wieder beim Kochen zu, wozu ich eingeladen wurde, weil ich selbst gern Koch

Favorite Place on Earth, so far

 

Hallo zusammen.

Hier is wirklich das was manche Paradies nennen könnten.

ALLE Leute die hier wohnen begrüssen sich freundlichst, sitzen Abends alle zusammen an nem Tisch beim essen und tauschen Geschichten aus, das Personal gehört ausnahmslos dazu, ist extrem freundlich und weltgewandt. Einer der Besitzer, ein Thai, reist selbst seit Jahren und war schon so gut wie überall auf der Welt.

Vom Essen möchte ich nicht anfangen, denn das is mit Worten nicht zu beschreiben, ich muss echt aufpassen das ich ned 200kg schwerer hier rauskomm

Just amazingly beautifull. Und die Tsunami Warnungen sind allgegenwärtig. Genauso wie Fluchtpläne wo man hinlaufen soll sobald n erdbeben ist. Hoch rauf eben. So hoch wie möglich.

Heute werd ich versuchen mal n paar Affen zu knipsen und heute Nachts gehts zum Schwimmen im leuchtenden Plankton.

Kurzer Zwischenbericht.

 

Ich reiche den Muay Thai Abend nach, denn ich bin gerade im Paradies angekommen.

Koh Siboya. Unglaublich geflasht. Ohne Worte lass ich die ersten Bilder sprechen.

Meine Hütte. 350 Baht die Nacht.

ALLE Leute(!) auch die Gäste begrüssen einen hier mit einem Lächeln! Es is wie bei the Beach! Ohne scheiss jetz!

Ich habe im Internet gelesen, auf Ko Siboya gibts das beste essen in ganz Süd Thailand. Ich hatte gerade einen Fried Papaya Salad. Ich kann das soweit unterschreiben das es bis Dato das beste Essen meines Lebens war (Sorry Mama ) . Und es war nur ein “Salat”

Die Leute hier laufen alle mit einem Lächeln durch die Gegend. Sowas hab ich noch nie erlebt. Alle fragen einen woher man kommt usw. Total hart.
